I didn't quite make it to 52 books in the year, which feels like the gold standard for those of us who keep track of what we've read in a year. But I hit 47 (and didn't count the two massive sci-fi anthologies I only read two-thirds of) which feels close enough. I'm also happy with the mix of fiction genres (science fiction, cheesy romance, a mystery or two, horror) and non-fiction (self-help/motivational and travel).
2022 is likely to see many of the same themes: post-apocalyptic, time travel, and alternate history stories.
I've starred the ones I particularly liked and there are links to the ones I've reviewed.
